What our Parents are saying…

“We are nearing the end of our first year with Fort Collins Preschool, and I am happy to say it’s been a wonderful 2 semesters. My 3 year old (Covid baby) started the year out with very little social experience, and being a SAHM I became very invested in finding an environment to help him grow and become a confident little human. FCPS is not a daycare, and it's not a full-time school- and that is what my family loves about it. It’s a co-op, with a large sense of community. The school really emphasizes the feeling of “It takes a village.” To be clear, getting started was a little intimidating. The school depends on its families to take on committees and be present a couple of times a month in the classroom. But in my opinion, that is one of the best parts. We didn’t join the school because I needed child care, we joined because I wanted to be a part of my child’s education, and offer him new experiences and challenges. We are excited to return next year!”

Our family loves this school and we have had a wonderful experience. Our three-year old looks forward to going to school and eagerly asks me every day if it's a school day. The teachers are fabulous, and the director and community are wonderful and so supportive. I love the co-op model and being involved in my kid's classroom, although at times it's been challenging to participate (working full time). This school is a great fit for families who want to participate in a community and their child's classroom and have that flexibility.

We have loved being a part of this preschool for the last three years, and plan on attending next year as well for their unique Junior K class for five year olds! The teachers are so great with the kids, and I've loved making friends not only for my kids, but also for myself in this community. The half day schedule is perfect for my family.”

We've had nothing but good experiences with this preschool and have had two different children attend. The co-op model takes a bit of getting used to but makes it much more affordable and creates a sense of community that other preschools may lack. The teachers have all been wonderful and the director is extremely knowledgeable and kind. We could not ask for a better neighborhood preschool here in Fort Collins!

We love this school for our 3 year old. This year was her first year in any kind of school or daycare setting, she’s shy, and the transition has been so smooth because we get to be in the classroom with her some of the time. All of the school staff and other parents will get to know your child, and you get to know all of the other little ones in your child’s class. The staff are all wonderful and have found their calling in working with littles. This school is truly a community, exactly what our family needs.

This Co-op style preschool lets you be a part of your childs education! It is only half days and a few days a week, allowing kids to be kids for longer! The classroom style allows for discovery and learning through play without any worksheets, homework, or forced learning time. If you want your 5 and under kiddos to have a chance at school fun and social experiences, without the rediculous pressures on 3 year olds to learn to read - this is for you! The co-op style requires parents to be in the classroom 1-3 times a month and to participate in cleaning, fundraising, and other school functions - because parents contribute to the school it is ACTUALLY affordable! The co-op style might not be for everyone but for those who want this style, it is a great choice.

“All three of my daughters have attended this preschool and I am so happy we chose it so many years ago. With classes for two, three, four, and five-year-olds, Fort Collins preschool is extremely unique. The school guarantees you time in the classroom with your child. In exchange for your time you receive a huge discount on tuition! Unlike most schools you actually get to know all the kids in your child’s class as well as their parents. It is a wonderful community to be a part of & I can’t think of a better way to prepare your child for kindergarten.”
